Saramonic announced Saramonic Ultra, a 2-channel mic system with a number of impressive features.
Headlining the system is the IP5X waterproof transmitters. This is a massive feature that will allow professional creators a lot more versatility without having to risk their system. Joining it is 130 dB SPL anti-distortion, their ClearVoice system, and an external antenna that can be added to the receiver for an impressive 300m range.
Saramonic also went above and beyond by including a Timecode multi-camera sync feature. This will allow editors unparalleled alignment with minimal effort. To further help each transmitter has 8GB of onboard storage with the ability to create audio captures with 32-bit float.
If that isn’t exciting enough, Saramonic gave it an improved version of their recent Blink 500 B2+ mobile connection inserts. These lock into place, allowing USB-C, and Lightning devices to connect with minimal effort.
