CRKD expanded their popular NEO S controller line to include a special “Purple Wave” style.
This controller features a lovely purple wave design, and includes an attachment that is designed with Fortnite Festival, and other rhythm games in mind. At a glance the attachment is reminiscent of the old Guitar Hero DS accessory, which isn’t too surprising given CRKD confirmed team members who worked on Guitar Hero and DJ Hero were involved in this project.
While I am not sure how well the attachment will work for a number of rhythm games, it’s nice to see new options hit the market. It’s also great to know the controller works on PC, Nintendo Switch, with Xbox support coming soon.
For those unfamiliar with CRKD’s NEO S controller, it boasts premium features like Hall Effect joysticks, replaceable joystick tops, and customizable back buttons. Further details can be found in the official overview below.
