One of the biggest surprises from today’s PlayStation State of Play is the announcement of Ghost of Yotei, the highly anticipated successor to the award-winning Ghost of Tsushima, set to release on PlayStation 5 in 2025.
Ghost of Yotei is set over 300 years after the events of its predecessor, exploring the stunning mountains of Yotei, a majestic peak in the heart of Ezo.
Developed from the ground up for PS5, Sucker Punch aims to enhance the visual experience established in Ghost of Tsushima, creating an even more immersive world. The game promises expansive sightlines that allow players to gaze across vast landscapes, dynamic skies filled with twinkling stars and auroras, and more realistic movements of wind through grass and foliage, along with other exciting improvements to be revealed later.
