Last week Bungie confirmed Destiny 2 will hold a special event starting Sept. 3 through 10 where swords will regenerate ammo. As an unanticipated outcome, players noticed Last Wish’s exotic, One Thousand Voices, was regenerating ammo.
Several players were quick to silence these reports in hopes it wouldn’t get patched. Much to players’ delight, Bungie confirmed they’re aware of the glitch and will not limit it outside of possibly Gambit.
As nice as this sounds, regenerating ammo is not active in dungeons, raids, and most Crucible modes. However, it is active in Grandmaster Nightfalls, along with this week being double Vanguard rep/drops.
This is a massive win given each run should give a couple exotics, Ascendant Shards, 20 Strange Coins, and a variety of other resources. Since the Grandmaster node is active as well, it makes finishing off this seasons title even easier. The only unfortunate bit is this week’s weapon is Uzume RR4, a not particularly desirable sniper.
Other active content includes Relic game mode Crucible, Strikes, Gambit (for now), and “Seasonal Content.” This weeks in every seasonal activity, most notably the recently released Encore exotic mission, making it the perfect opportunity to unlock Catalysts, and other triumphs.
Update: Bungie confirmed they will not disable One Thousand Voices in Gambit.
