As gamescom continues to progress, another wave of announcements happened during this year’s Future Game Show. This time announcements were not as big, but still hard to follow given how many of them took place. To make it easier to keep up, we wanted to create a brief roundup of everything that happened.
Nacon gave players another look at their exciting Greedfall sequel, Greedfall 2: The Dying World. As previously revealed, early access will begin on Sept. 24. A console release is also in the works, but a release date was not given.
Skydance Interactive, best known for The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, gave players another look at their next experience, Behemoth. The exciting VR experience will hit Meta Quest 2/3, and PlayStation VR2 on Nov. 14.
Evil Raptor gave players a final look at their upcoming action adventure game, Akimbot. It looks to be something that will resonate with fans of Ratchet and Clank, or similar titles. It’s set to release on Aug. 29, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
A late launch trailer was released for Steamworld Heist 2. Those interested can check it out for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Dee Dee Creations gave players a final look at Squirrel with a Gun ahead of its Aug. 29 PC release. A PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series version will release on Oct. 15. Those interested in future plans can find the roadmap here.
Ocean Drive Studio welcomed players to the official release of Section 13. The title, which was previously known as Blackout Protocol, released to Early Access a little over a year ago. Response to the topdown roguelike was good, so hopefully the full release will continue to excite fans. An expansive list of changes, and differences can be found here.
Sharkmob AB showcased their upcoming extraction shooter, Exoborne. No release date was given, but we also included the recently revealed gameplay trailer as well.
Primal Game Studio gave players another look at their 2.5D action-RPG, Mandragora.
The Game Kitchen gave players another look at their real-time tactical stealth adventure, The Stone of Madness. It’s currently set to release in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Beyond Galaxyland will release on Sept. 24 for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Lazy Bear Games gave another look at their charming JRPG, Bloomtown: A Different Story. Those interested in more can check out the demo ahead of its Sept. 24 release.
Charming puzzle game, Sunset Hills, will release for PC on Aug. 21.
historia Inc.revealed their free-to-play racing experience, Faaast Penguin. It’s expected to release next month for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Hectiq gave players a look at their multiplayer brawler, Los Pingheros. It’s said to be a chaotic good time, so it will be interesting to see if this is finds an audience when it releases sometime in the future.
