Audeze and Embody Team Up to Bring Maxwell’s Head Tracking to Spatial Content Creators

At the All About Music conference in Mumbai, India, top audio technology and premium headphone manufacturer, Audeze, and Spatial Audio leader, Embody announced an exciting collaboration that will drastically reduce the barriers to mix Spatial Audio tracks through Immerse Virtual Studio PRO, and Audeze’s Maxwell headset.

With Immerse Virtual Studio PRO “any engineer” can easily mix in the legendary Atmos Studios of A R Rahman and Alan Meyerson. The real-time binauralization takes full advantage of Maxwell’s impressive planar magnetic drivers, and head-tracking hardware built into each unit.

This partnership with Embody is part of Audeze’s dedication to expanding Maxwell to a diverse range of application. It also builds on the recent update that allows Maxwell users to use head tracking within Dolby Atmos Renderer.

Audeze CEO, Sankar Thiagasamudram, added the following insight about the exciting collaboration.

This is the next step in our long term relationship and collaboration with Embody. We are striving to create more ready-made spatial audio solutions that take advantage of Maxwell’s built-in hardware.

A.R. Rahman, legendary Indian composer and musician, also commented the following.

Imagine checking your mix in a reference studio of the highest quality. Now you can with the ARR Immerse Pro plugin from Embody. Using Artificial Intelligence, the Immerse Pro plugin brings the iconic sound of AM studios so you can mix and test Dolby Atmos content with confidence on your headphones.

Embody CEO, Kapil Jain, also added their thoughts on the collaboration.

I am excited to continue our partnership with Audeze to announce the Immerse Virtual Studio PRO and Maxwell collaboration.  This product offers everyone the opportunity to mix Atmos content with ease at a fraction of the cost

It will be exciting to see how this move impacts the market, and helps increase the usage of spatial audio.
