Obsidian Accidentally Reveals Avowed Release Date

Obsidian Entertainment may have unintentionally revealed the release date for Avowed, their highly anticipated RPG. During the recent Xbox Games Showcase, a blog post from the studio briefly mentioned that Avowed is set to release on November 12, 2024. This information was quickly removed, but not before it was noted by eagle-eyed fans.

The blog post coincided with the launch of a new Avowed story trailer, giving fans a glimpse of the game’s companions and factions. In the trailer, players are introduced to various characters, including Giatta, an outspoken animancer, and Inquisitor Lodwyn, an extremist paladin.

The leak, however, casts some uncertainty on the exact release plans. It’s possible the official release date will be confirmed soon, potentially during the upcoming Official Xbox Podcast.

In addition to Avowed, the Xbox Games Showcase featured a plethora of exciting announcements, including new entries in the Fable, Gears of War, Indiana Jones, and Doom franchises. The gaming community is abuzz with speculation and excitement as they await official confirmation of Avowed‘s release date.
