MultiVersus Adds The Joker

With MultiVersus‘ May 28 return fast approaching, they announced The Joker will be joining the colorful cast of characters.

The initial reveal confirms the biggest question, which is Mark Hamill is reprising the ever popular role.

Details are still limited, but The Joker is confirmed to be a Mage character. This means he is more of a ranged fighter with a somewhat tricky play style, something that suits The Joker quite well.

According to his card, The Joker uses a crowbar for a launcher, throws cards that activate one of three effects, and has a chargeable rocket attack.

Player First Games Co-Founder, and MultiVersus Game Director, Tony Huynh followed this news by confirming this is just “the beginning.” It’s hard to say how much more will be revealed beyond The Joker, along with the previously revealed Dexter’s Laboratory and Townsville maps suggesting at least two more characters, but it’s great to see this long standing rumor confirmed.

More information about MultiVersus’ return can be found below.
