With the release of Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2 for PC via Steam, it’s no secret to those who purchased the game that there are certain issues within it that the developers will hopefully address. Today, Capcom has acknowledged these problems and issued a statement.
One of the primary concerns among PC gamers is the frequent crashing and freezing experienced by some players. Capcom has recognized this issue and has stated that addressing these crashes and freezes is their top priority at the moment, with fixes slated to be released via patches in the near future.
In addition to the crashing and freezing, another significant concern for many PC gamers is the drop in frame rates attributed to high CPU usage, particularly in managing the presence of each character and calculating the impact of their actions in different areas. Similar to the first concern, Capcom is actively working to improve performance in the near future.
Furthermore, Capcom has addressed other concerns, such as the availability of certain items exclusively as DLC within the game. They clarified that items like the Art of the Metamorphosis, Portcrystal, and the Makeshift Goal Key, which are purchasable in the shop, can also be obtained through in-game means.
