As Final Fantasy VII Rebirth emerges as the second chapter of the much-awaited trilogy within the Final Fantasy VII universe, anticipation is high for the depth and diversity of summoning materia it offers, particularly compared to its predecessor.
With the release of the Final Fantasy VII Remake, players expressed disappointment over the restricted number of summoning materia. Thankfully, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has addressed this concern by offering a plethora of materias, granting players abundant opportunities to explore various builds and summoning options.
After completing the first chapter, players will reach Kalm and have the opportunity to customize their materia. Right off the bat, five materias from the previous game will be at their disposal.
In Final Fantasy VII Rebirth players can obtain six additional summoning materias. Like in Final Fantasy Remake, these materias can be acquired through Chadley’s Combat Simulator in each new region. A unique feature in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth enables players to level up these exclusive summon materias, unlike the five original materias from Final Fantasy Remake, which cannot be leveled up.
Expecting the third and final installment, it’s reasonable to expect several summoning materias to appear in the last game. The following summon materias are absent in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth . Ideally, these and more will be added in the upcoming conclusion.
