Antony Starr, best known as Homelander in Amazon’s series The Boys, might not be voicing said character in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 DLC.
This was revealed when Starr replied to vaguelyokay’s question about him voicing Homelander with a simple no.
VaguelyOkay “Yo @toni.starr are you voicing Homelander in Mortal Kombat 1? 😱” Starr “nope”

Surprisingly, this is not the first time this answer has came up. Several months ago reddit user Spawnyboi posted they saw Starr at a convention and was also told he would not be voicing Homelander.
While the Instagram post is far more concrete, as we can at least confirm it came from Starr’s personal account, that doesn’t mean it’s true either.
WhenThe Boys collaborated with Call of Duty Starr voiced Homelander. Likewise, NetherRealm Studios has consistently succeeded in getting beloved actors to lend their talents. Most recently J.K. Simmons voiced Omni-Man, who is now available to play.
In response to the news, players have speculated everything from an NDA to NetherRealm Studios simply not asking him yet. Given Homelander’s release is set for spring 2024, a lot can change and hopefully the end result is one fans enjoy.
