How to Defeat Walker of Illusions in Lies of P

At this point it should be clear bosses in Lies of P are generally bested by knowing how to counter their rotations. Powerful strikes that can quickly bring Fatal Attacks, quick blows that overwhelm, and countless other things are key factors to come out alive. In the case of Walk of Illusions it comes down to approach more than anything.

Suggested Build

Before going into this fight I suggest going back the way you came. Down that path is a place to drop down and kill a second flame enemy. Technically there is a ladder, but it’s a lot easier to kill it and get the items down that path. The most notable thing is another item to expand shop offerings. I wouldn’t mention this if it wasn’t for the fact it gives a Quartz, Full Moonstone of the Covenant, and an unlimited supply of Half Moonstones for 3,000. This will allow you to upgrade all your normal weapons to +9, something that will help make this fight a lot easier.

If things prove incredibly difficult, going to the location shown in the cypher you can purchase gives two Quartz. They’re not the most important, but three total is enough to get a full upgrade to your P-Organ and a good number of wonderful benefits like an additional heal.

For build it helps to have Carcass Butcher’s Amulet, Blue Guardianship Amulet, Arch Extra Heavyweight Frame, LADA Large Capacity Insulation Converter, LADA Shock Cartridge, and Arch Fiber Reinforced Liner. I also used Aegis, though it is not explicitly required.

The weapon you’ll want for this fight is Acidic Crystal Spear, which was found in chapter four after killing the mini-boss in the wide open area. You do not need to change anything about it, though it helps to increase the level. It’s very weak, with even upgrades only adding five or so attack to each stat.

Defeating Walker of Illusions

Start the fight by dealing as much damage as possible. She will typically scream, which will disorient and give some debuff, though neither will change things in a meaningful way. Once she starts attacking, use Aegis to block her moves while stabbing her with the spear. At roughly 60 percent health she will gain the status aliment and at 50 summon a copy.

Kill the copy as quickly as possible, followed by dealing damage to her. The best course of action is to figure out when she is open and take a few hits, or dodge attacks like her lunge and punish. It will require some trial and error to get right, but with enough pressure you should make quick work of her.
