EA tweeted what players can expect from the first patch, along with confirming future patches will improve the overall performance for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
While it’s nice to know these features will be corrected in the future, many players are unimpressed with the current state. At the time of posting, Steam has 3,000+ reviews with the overall impression being mixed.
Some people love the experience despite the issues, not unlike the early days of Cyberpunk 2077, with others reporting they can’t even get the game to load. As of this post there are no reviews on Metacritic, likely due to them cracking down on user reviews following the Horizon fiasco, but there are reports on reddit of poor performance across the board.
Unfortunately, no ETA was given for additional fixes, though it’s good to know they acknowledged it before people noted them to begin with.
