For years the $1 Xbox Game Pass Ultimate trial has been a staple players have praised Microsoft for. Not only was it linked to a fairly well known exploit, it was a great way to experience everything Xbox Game Pass had to offer without a sizable commitment.
However, Polish Xbox news outlet XGP, noticed the promotion is no longer available in Poland and “other regions.”
It is not known if this is a glitch, error, or possibly exclusive to those regions. Common speculation is either Microsoft hit a milestone and no longer deems the promotion necessary, with others thinking this might be an indicator the family plan is about to roll out. Some have also indicated they’ve seen the promotion come and go, something we have not been able to verify.

Update: The Verge received the following statement confirming they’re no longer doing the $1 trial.
“We have stopped our previous introductory offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass and are evaluating different marketing promotions for new members in the future,” says Kari Perez, head of global communications at Xbox, in a statement to The Verge.
