The Lord of the Rings: Gollum ESRB Rating Revealed

The ESRB has now rated the upcoming game called The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. The rating finally gives us more details about the full game.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been rated T for Teen. It includes Mild Blood, Mild Language and Violence.

You can check out the ESRB rating summary below.

This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the role of Gollum on a quest to obtain the Ring of Power. From a third-person perspective, players traverse Mordor’s cave-like environments, avoid enemies (e.g., orcs guards/soldiers), and use stealth tactics to lure guards into traps and ambushes. Players also make dialogue choices on how to interact with characters; some choices result in Gollum strangling enemies to death. Strangulation is also depicted during players’ stealth attacks (with gasping and collapsing effects). A handful of environments depict blood stains on walls. The word “bastard” appears in the game.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is out later this year.
