Sony added a new PlayStation Stars collectible to celebrate chocolate and hazelnut spread day.
Like we saw with partially coated chocolate biscuit stick day, May 5 is actually Nutella Day. The chocolate and hazelnut spread refers to their long list of products that people all over the world enjoy.
To earn the PlayStation Stars collectible, simply play any PlayStation 4/5 game in the next 24 hours. Please note, at the time of posting it doesn’t seem to work, but keep trying and it should eventually unlock. Once done you’ll earn the latest collectible, which is another interesting design to say the least.
For those unfamiliar and curious about the design, it’s mean to be a combination of several different things. The jar is meant to look like Nutella, with design featuring the Japanese mascot Toro Inoue as Nyan Cat. It’s an older meme that most should be familiar with, even if its relevance has decreased in the past decade. Instead of using a pop tart, the Toro version features a pink square. This is meant to correspond with DualShock colors, with his rainbow being replaced with green, red, blue, and pink, which are the four colors featured on a DualShock going in clockwise order. It might not be the most unusual design, but it’s clear someone had some fun making it.
