A couple days ago, Bayonetta‘s previous voice actress, Hellena Taylor, tweeted a series of videos on why she is no longer voicing the character in Bayonetta 3. This included claims that she was offered less than she believed the job was worth and requested players to boycott the upcoming release.
Following that, Jennifer Hale, who took over for Taylor as the voice of Bayonetta, tweeted a statement on the issue.
Unfortunately, due to NDAs she is not at liberty to speak candidly on the situation, but notes her reputation should speak for herself and to keep an open mind about an experience a team of hard-working and dedicated people created.
At this time, Platinum Games has not issued a statement, but we will probably hear something later this week.
