Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Release Date Revealed

Koei Tecmo revealed their latest entry in the Fatal Frame franchise, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, will release on Mar. 9, 2023 for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Along with the release date reveal, Koei Tecmo also announced a digital deluxe edition and preorder bonuses.

For the Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse Digital Deluxe Edition, players will get the game, which includes the OST, digital art book and Rogetsu Isle Dinner Party costume set. The costume set includes a “China” and pajama costume for Ruka and Misaki, along with a swimsuit for Ruka, Misaki, and Choshiro, plus six unannounced accessories. Those who opt out will also be able to purchase a separate upgrade to get these benefits.

Preordering either version of Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse will also get a “limited edition” Fox Mask and Spirit Stone Flashlight for Ruka, Misaki, and Choshiro. Purchasing the game before Mar. 22, 2023 will also give the Marie Rose (Dead or Alive) costume for Ruka. According to the website, this costume might be sold at a later date. Finally, anyone with Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water save data will earn the Camera Obscura Hat for Ruka, Misaki, and Choshiro.
