Following a last minute delay, MultiVersus‘ first season will officially start on Aug. 15. At launch players will get a new Battle Pass, with Morty coming on Aug. 23 and the rest throughout the season.
Unfortunately, no further details were revealed, so the upcoming hit box correction, alternate modes shown above and more could come at any point in the season. That said, some information about the upcoming Morty character was revealed.
To many’s surprise, he will be a bruiser and is considered an “expert” character. This means he will likely cost 3,000 gold to unlock and require a little extra skill to master. His moves will also include a Plumbus, along with orange juice. Along with that, Tony Huynh, MultiVersus game director, described him as “fun for the player” with the hopes he will be fun for opponents as well.
In the mean time, there is still time to finish or at least get some items from the initial Battle Pass, along with the special EVO code giving a special icon and banner as well.
