The Best Spot to Grind in Outriders Worldslayer

Major expansions and updates like Outriders Worldslayer can be fun but also frustrating. There is a lot of amazing gear to unlock, along with balance changes that often result in a fair amount of build crafting. Outriders Worldslayer takes this to another level by adding a new item tier called Apocalyptic. This forces even the most hardcore player into some amount of grinding, resulting in the question of the best place to do it. While it might seem obvious, there is a secret that can really help up your game.

The Best Spot to Grind in Outriders Worldslayer

Like the base game, Outriders Worldslayer sticks to established mechanics. Expeditions remain the best way to earn drop pods, an invaluable resource for leveling, purchasing legendary gear or cycling the shop’s inventory, with the newly added Trial of Tarya Gratar being the best way to earn loot.

Not only is the average mission shorter than an expedition, it also has more chances to collect loot. It’s extremely common to do a full run and get around 10 legendary in roughly an hour.

An Example of the Selection the Arbiter of Descent Offers

Naturally, this guide would be worthless if that was the secret and you’re right, the best spot to farm is against the Arbiter of Descent. Not only does it seem to have the best possible loot, you’re guaranteed one of three legendary pieces of gear per defeat. What you might not know is that the Trials of Tarya Gratar has a checkpoint system.

Leaving at any spot will return you to some point previously in the Trial. Doing this also uses an attempt, so once you’re out, it will take you back to the start of the Trial. What makes this important is how the checkpoint system itself works.

Progressing forward is what causes a checkpoint, so you can defeat the Arbiter of Descent, collect its loot/free legendary and simply return to lobby instead of moving forward and beating the Trials of Tarya Gratar.

No word on if this exploit will be changed or fixed, so I would grind it out if you’re looking for a specific piece of gear or just want one of the new weapons.
