Warner Bros. Games announced LeBron James will be joining the fight in MultiVersus on July 26. This is the same day the public beta goes live, making it the perfect time to join in the fight.
In addition to LeBron, Rick Sanchez, from the extremely popular Rick and Morty was also confirmed. He will release sometime in the first season later this year.
While these reveals might be a surprise, they actually fall in line with a couple ongoing MultiVersus leaks. These include some expected characters, like Joker, along with some out there choices like Ted Lasso. Naturally, these should still be taken with a grain of salt, as things change all the time, but I wouldn’t completely dismiss them either.
Update: We misunderstood the tweet and while Rick is among the characters data mined and seemingly quite complete, the character mentioned here is actually Morty.
