The Last Faith Publisher Revealed; Gameplay Trailer Released

Playstack confirmed they will be publishing The Last Faith for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series, Switch and PC, with a release date set for later this year.

This is great progress for The Last Faith and its developer Kumi Souls Games, as just last year the title found life as a successful Kickstarter project. Seeing this move to a much larger project that will reach more players is a massive win and something Playstack Chief Executive Harvey Elliot said about the reveal.

When we first met developer Kumi Souls, we were struck by just how closely and attentively the studio listens to the desires of its fanbase.

That player-first approach is often a hallmark of success and it was completely unsurprising to us that The Last Faith significantly outperformed its Kickstarter target and accrues so many Wishlists on a daily basis. That drive, coupled with the engaging world The Last Faith builds, made it a no-brainer for the Playstack family.

Press Release

For those who haven’t kept up with the self described Soulsvania title The Last Faith, you can find the official overview below:

The wicked and the blessed will be judged the same – let nothing stand in your way.

Often brutal, always empowering, The Last Faith is an unholy alliance of metroidvania and soulslike.

The Last Faith thrives on merciless and precise combat, with a huge range of custom executions to perform.

Discover a formidable arsenal of melee weapons, arcane spells, and long-range firearms, allowing you to carve a path your own way.

Nonlinear exploration is at the core of The Last Faith. Gorgeous pixel art depicts an imposing gothic landscape. Journey along snow-dusted mountains and castles bathed in moonlight. Discover and upgrade a formidable range of tools for destruction.

Step into The Last Faith’s ravaged world as Eric, who awakens with no recollection of his immediate past. Soon he will discover he is in a race against time as his mind and conscience begins to deteriorate. His desire for salvation from this affliction sets him on a cursed mission that crosses paths with ancient religions and divinities.
