Techland has now announced a pretty big sales milestone for its hit game called Dying Light 2 Stay Human. The Dying Light sequel has now sold over 5 million copies worldwide according to the latest press release.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human was released on February 4th, 2022. The 5 million sales mark was achieved only four weeks later as of February 28th, 2022. Since it’s April, the sales of the game could be higher now.
It is a long way for the sequel to catch up to the first Dying Light as that game has sales of well over 20 million copies in its lifetime. It will be interesting to see how the sequel fares in a few year’s time.
“The success of the Dying Light franchise is a great example of the unforgettable experiences we create for our players.”
– Paweł Marchewka, Techland’s CEO
