How to Respec and reset attributes in Elden Ring

In Elden Ring, every time you earn a level, players can distribute an attribute to their stat depending on the build they wish to have. Players at an early stage of the game can one time decide to be a pure INT build for Astrologer but can later change their mind for another build. Luckily, there is a way to change your build without starting over, but it will take some time to unlock.

Here’s a guide on how to respec and reset attributes in Elden Ring:

  1. The only NPC that will allow you to Respec in-game is Rennala, the second demigod that you will get to fight in Elden Ring.
  2. Rennala is the main boss located at the Academy of Raya Lucaria in the region called Liurnia of the Lakes. As soon as you defeat her, she will stay at the Grand Library, in which you can either respec or change the appearance of your character.
  1. Sadly, respec will require an item called Larval Tear. Unfortunately, the maximum that you are able to hold a Larval Tear is 10.
  2. Once you are able to give her a Larval Tear, you will then able to redistribute all to the ones you really need for your new build.
