How Long is ELEX II?

ELEX II is taking the fight back to Magalan with series protagonist Jax once again facing off against a dire threat. This sprawling RPG is ready to soak up a good chunk of your free time in the same manner as its predecessor. But exactly how long will you be roaming the sci-fi landscape in pursuit of ending an impending alien invasion?

The first ELEX game provided ample playtime in the range of 25-50 hours depending on the player’s strict adherence to the main storyline. The sequel looks to expand on the previous entry in many regards, such as scope and longevity. Both directly translate to a longer game, especially for those completionists out there dying to see it all.

How Long is ELEX II?

ELEX II can easily consume upwards of 30 hours. Sticking primarily to the main storyline while entertaining companion quests and light exploration should clock in around this point. However, those scouring every square inch of digital space, piling on a hefty list of quest to-dos, will see their time double to the 60-hour mark and beyond.

ELEX II is all about playing your way, choosing your most desired faction (or none at all), and building Jax up with an assortment of exciting abilities. Your ability to get lost in this medieval future setting will be the primary force pushing you to either end of the spectrum in regards to playtime. Give into the rougher edges and explore all Magalan has to offer.
