Rainbow Six Extraction VR Training Rewards

There is nothing less interesting than loading up your brand new game and finding out you have to do training. There is nothing overly complicated about Rainbow Six Extraction, at least for those even vaguely familiar with first person shooters, yet they need to be done. One thing that is a bit different than other games is the need to do this isn’t absolute. They can be skipped, missions ignored and more, but before you worry about avoiding them, let’s look at the rewards.

Rainbow Six Extraction VR Training Rewards

VR Training Missions

There are two sets of missions under VR Training. The first set unlocked immediately, with the second appearing after the first. Neither set are particularly hard or long for that matter, though without knowing what is expected you probably won’t complete them.

To make it easier, we included each completed mission and the optional intel above. Basically, finish the mission, smoke bomb enemies and leave in the final area (finishing the mission is not required). For the second set, destroy nests, stealth kill (inactive nests count) and finish all objectives. So you’re looking at about two or three attempts depending on how you go about it.

Rewards

At first glance the rewards look pretty good, though they’re really not. Even beginner missions following the training offer a substantial amount more experience, with easier missions no less. However, the real highlight is the Phantom Sight armor.

Finishing the first half will give the helmet, with the body coming from the second. This costume works on every operator and gives your character some options. To get an idea if it’s worth your time, you can find Sledge’s version above. Every character has their own version of the camo, so don’t expect a lot of variation.

Whether this is something worth your time is up to you, though those with the deluxe edition might prefer those unique designs, like the Strike outfit pictured above.
