Tales of Crestoria to shut down on February 7

Bandai Namco is saddened to announce today that Tales of Crestoria will end service on February 6, 2022, at 9 PM PT / February 7 at 12 AM ET.

Tales of Crestoria launched back on July 16, 2020, worldwide for both iOS and Google Play. After almost a year and a half of servicing Tales of fans, it’s time to say goodbye in a few months. Players can still play the game until the said time, but the ability to buy gemstones will stop effective immediately.

Additionally, Bandai Namco will be releasing a weekly basis manga for Tales of Crestoria starting with the December 13 issue.

Here’s the official statement of Bandai Namco in regards to Tales of Crestoria shutting down:

We regret to announce the closure of Tales of Crestoria.

Thank you all for your support and we hope you enjoyed playing.

We will be keeping the servers open until February 7, 2022 at 14:00 JST, so please continue to enjoy Tales of Crestoria until the very end.

All items can be used until the last day, so if you have any items or Gleamstones in your account, please use them before February 7, 2022.

Also, from today, we are disabling the purchase of Gleamstones.

For more information, please check in-game announcements.

While it’s indeed disappointing seeing Tales of Crestoria go in just a little over a year, don’t forget that there’s still Tales of Luminaria that is available for both iOS and Android devices as well.
