Microsoft and developer 343 Industries announced today that Halo Infinite multiplayer beta is available now for both Xbox and PC via Microsoft Store and Steam.
The release of Halo Infinite multiplayer beta will mark the beginning of Season 1 until May 2022. While a new season is planned for every three months, the first season will run for an extended period of time to ensure Season 2 will meet the developer’s quality standards.
“As we prepare for a significant increase in the number of players jumping into Halo Infinite on launch day, December 8, we want to ensure all our systems are good-to-go,” said Halo Infinite creative lead Joseph Staten in a news post. “While you may experience some bumps and bugs during this beta period, it does mark the official start of Halo Infinite Season 1, with all day-one maps and modes enabled as well as the full Season 1 Battle Pass. This means all the Battle Pass and customization items you earn or purchase during the beta will stay with you after December 8.”
Throughout the first season, players can look forward to additional events, customization items, and other content. For players who will log in today, will unlock a free collection of Halo series 20th anniversary-themed cosmetics.
Halo Infinite campaign mode will be available on December 8.
