How to Change Appearance in Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 might not house the most robust character creator, but it is a step up from Forza Horizon 4. After the game has you set up the look of your racer, you may be wondering if you are able to alter their look later in the game.

The good news is that you are not stuck with your initial appearance decisions. Your racer can be edited at any point throughout the Forza Horizon 5 experience, assuming you know where to go. Worry not, we will show you how to change up your look.

How to Change Appearance in Forza Horizon 5

Changing the player appearance is embedded in the My Festival menu, which can be accessed from one of the Forza Horizon Outposts or any owned Player Home. Inside the menu there is the desired Customize Character option.

From here, you can change the following categories of your current character:

  • Character
  • Hair
  • Hair Colour
  • Prosthetics
  • Identity
  • Voice
  • Tops
  • Jackets
  • Dresses
  • Legs
  • Ankle
  • Feet
  • Hats
  • Eye
  • Face
  • Wrist
  • Hands
  • Outfit
  • Emotes

Each category will have its contents expanded as items are unlocked via accolades, in-game currency purchases, and other progression avenues. So start knocking out as much content as possible in order to have the full suite of customization options available for your digital avatar. But don’t forget to put that customized character in a sweet ride, such as the ones found in the Welcome Pack and Formula Drift Car Pack.

Forza Horizon 5 is now available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
