Far Cry 6 comes in additional flavors beyond the standard edition, as is common with countless games nowadays. In regards to Ubisoft’s latest open-world first-person shooter, there are Standard, Gold, Ultimate, and Collector’s editions up for grabs. Everything above the Standard Edition comes packed with exclusive digital goodies to help Dani in the fight against Anton Castillo.
For those that purchased any of the premium variants, we’re going to show you how to access the DLC bonuses attached to each. Keep in mind that the Collector’s Edition carries the same digital content as the Ultimate Edition with the added bonus of receiving a physical replica of the in-game flamethrower.
In order to access the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition DLC, players must first complete “The Guerrilla,” the seventh main story mission. Depending on players’ desire to explore the starting island, Isla Santuario, getting to the aforementioned point should take around 2-3 hours. It won’t be long once the story has progressed beyond Island Santuario and fully opens the massive map of Yara.
Far Cry 6 will splash a notice across the screen stating “Extra Content Now Available” once the mission prerequisite has been satisfied. All that is left to do is head into the Arsenal, Amigos, and Rides menus to view each category’s respective unlocks. Now you’re ready to head into Yara with better odds from the start of this revolutionary journey.
Far Cry 6 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
