Probably the biggest question players have in regards to Deathloop is length. With trailers showing small locations, quick kills and a premise that requires players to kill seven bosses in a day suggests it’s very short. While the actual experience will vary wildly, the real answer is that it depends on how you approach Deathloop.
If players focus on the story and don’t go out of their way to do anything else, I would wager it’s possible to beat Deathloop in four hours. This is the worst experience possible but it can be done.
With decent exploring, maybe some side quests, and exploration you can expect about 15 hours from Deathloop.
To see everything, without any kind of guide, you’re easily looking at 40 to 50 hours. There are a lot of easily missed collectibles and side missions that can add a bunch of time. Heck, just beating the game unlocked none of the 20+ costumes. There are also upgrades for your Slabs, a few well-hidden weapons, and a lot more to unlock too.
If we add in the Julianna protect the loop tasks, Deathloop can easily gain another 30 or more hours. But, even without unlocking new content, finishing a stage is more prep for a later run than anything else. I would often find new mechanics, elements, and locations that allow players to approach it differently. Even if I originally did a mission guns blazing, learning I can teleport to a window and then sneak past four or five enemies to kill the boss is something worth trying on later playthroughs.

The first realistic appraisal of platinum time I've seen. Just got the Plat and it took me 40+ hrs. I did take some time looking around and played as Juliana a bit. However the challenges really drag it out. Most players will need multiple attempts at challenges. I've beaten Returnal and Sekiro so I'm fair with the thumbskill. I reckon Powerpyx have it wrong at 3 out of 10 difficulty. It's 4-5 imo.

Congrats on the platinum!
