Believe it or not, 2021 marks the tenth anniversary of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which Bethesda Game Studios is celebrating with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition.
The latest edition, which joins an ever growing lists of versions, is essentially the existing port The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition with over 500 unique pieces of Creation Club content. Specifics on what these include were not revealed, but the PlayStation Blog post revealing the new version mentions it includes quests, dungeons, bosses, weapons, spells and more.
This version will be available in a stand alone version, with existing owners of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition having the ability to upgrade for an unannounced price in the future.
Along with this version, Bethesda Game Studios confirmed existing owners will get some stuff for free too. First and foremost, an enhanced version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series can be upgraded for no additional charge. All players will also receive the following Creation Club content “Fishing, Survival Mode and new quests with Saints and Seducers.”
Expect all of this and more when The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition launches Nov. 11 for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series and PC.
