No More Heroes III has a lot to say and places to send Travis but the reasoning isn’t always clear. You’ll quickly learn question marks are tasks and the shop unlocks cards, plus so many other things. However, the most useful thing, upgrades, isn’t quite clear. Thankfully, the location is easy to find but also extremely easy to overlook.
To upgrade Travis, simply return to the motel and ride the pole down. You should see an arcade machine, which uses World End Super Nova (WESN) currency to increase your attack, health, battery and more.
Initially I suggest investing in them evenly, with long term investments being whatever makes sense. If you do make a mistake though, you can refund and redo it. This area also has a sushi shop for consumable and other key items.
While this won’t make all the fights easier, it will give you more power to decrease the difficulty long term.
