Cloud Gaming Finally Comes to Xbox One and Series This Holiday Season

During Microsoft’s Gamescom 2021 presentation, they revealed cloud gaming will finally release on Xbox One/Series this holiday season for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.

The feature, which allows players to enjoy over 100 games immediately, at up to 1080p 60 FPS makes it extremely easy to play with friends or play a game you’re not sure is worth downloading. Microsoft also notes this will give Xbox One owners the ability to play “Gen-9-only” Xbox games like The Medium on said console.

Finally, Microsoft revealed eager players that are part of the Xbox Insider Program will get beta access this Fall to collect feedback and improve the final experience. Expect more information about that in the coming weeks.
