Not all PC titles are developed equally. This is something we have learned over the years, observing outstanding and abysmal ports alike. Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a good-looking game, but its performance occasionally takes a hit when the Xenomorph numbers swell onscreen and players begin using their flashy abilities in an attempt to survive the extraterrestrial monstrosities.

Armed with the knowledge of which settings can be modified, you know what options are available to optimize your alien-slaying experience. Fighting Xenomorphs is hard enough; let’s not combat the framerate, too.
