How to Unlock the True End in Cris Tales

As you might suspect, even if Crisbell can see the future, there is only one true end to Cris Tales. It isn’t exactly hard to get, not in the sense that there are extremely brief windows to do things or esoteric mechanics but it is the type of thing players might overlook. To help make this easier, this is how you unlock the true end to Cris Tales.

How to Unlock the True End in Cris Tales:

There are two conditions to unlocking the true end to Cris Tales. The first is finishing every side quest and answering three questions a specific way.

Side Quests

While Narim has nothing related to the true end, it is possible to miss the trophy/achievement either Apothecary Team and Miller Team. Both are not needed for the true end, so you can reply the game and get the other, but everything after is.

In St Clarity there are three quests. The Witness, A Memorial to the Fallen and In Need of Repairs. Of the three, only A Memorial to the Fallen is really missable. It requires you saving Noah when you enter the dungeon. Everything else can be done before the boss fight, which you can check for more information.

Things get a bit more complicated in Neva Tulira, as there are four quests. These are Setting the Basses, The Grand Carnival, Unlucky in Love and Bitter Memories. Only one of these is hidden, it’s a book behind a pillar in the Museum and The Grand Carnival can be confusing (you need to speak to the vender to finish it). As long as these are complete before finishing the area, you’re good. For a more detailed guide, please check out this article.

Cinder only requires three, none of which are hidden. These are A Royal Decree, A Heart Made Whole and A Rising Tide. As long as you know to buy the tools from the vender they should be straightforward, though more information is located here.

Crystallys finishes things off with the three additional tasks. These are Hereditary Pain, The Faithful Son and Old Wounds. These should be completed through normal progression and are not missable in any way.

Choices

As mentioned above, there are three choices Crisbell has to make to reach the desired outcome. Each appear at the end of St Clarity, Neva Tulira and Cinder. If you’re been playing Cris Tales for trophy/achievements, you should’ve already correctly answered each question. But, if not, all three require the right most option when given the choice.

For St Clarity, this is forming a council to govern the city. In Neva Tulira, you’ll want to fund both the museum and university. Finally, in Cinder, you need to decide to do both actions to save everyone.

Once all of this is done, you’ll be on the path to the true end in Cris Tales. But, if you stumble along the way, you can find a guide to each boss here.
