Guilty Gear Strive’s First DLC Character is Goldlewis Dickinson

Following confirmation the first DLC character in Guilty Gear Strive is a newcomer, Arc System Works announced fan favorite, Goldlewis Dickinson, is joining the fight. He will release on July 27 for Season Pass holders and July 30 for everyone else.

Arc System Works describes Goldlewis Dickinson as follows:

The Secretary of Absolute Defense.

Goldlewis is the first-ever Secretary of Defense in the history of the United States who is also an active-duty military officer.

With his excellent judgment and ability to lead based on his extensive combat experience, he has garnered immense popularity and earned the trust of those around him.

His personal combat prowess is said to be equivalent to the entire White House Security Force, and it is no exaggeration to say that the security and authority of the United States are established due to his presence, making him the mainstay of the nation.

While Goldlewis Dickinson is far from a surprising choice for Guilty Gear Strive, given the amount of attention he got in the story, many expected this honor to go to Happy Chaos. A few weeks ago we reported both characters were datamined, with this, along with the Guilty Gear Strive website listing him under GLD, strongly suggest the reveals are accurate, though only time will tell.
