Epic Data, a tracker for data related to the Epic Game Store, added two mysterious entries that appear to be Final Fantasy VII Remake and Alan Wake Remastered.
The listings, which are PineappleQA and HeronStaging respectively, briefly mentioned their real names under cloud data. This has since been removed, but Wario64 saved an image of both potential leaks.
Despite removing the reveal, both listings still mention the publisher in question, making this seem quite likely. To further this, we know sometime soon Sony will lose the exclusivity to Final Fantasy VII Remake. Thanks to the pandemic and Intergrade it got extended, with rumors of a PC version existing for a while.
Alan Wake Remastered also makes a lot of sense given what we know. Notable leaker Jeff Grubb mentioned he heard talk of a sequel, with Epic Games publishing. The second expansion for Control also linked into Alan Wake’s universe, suggesting a desire to continue that story. And, given Remedy got the rights to publish Alan Wake a few years back, it makes sense to bring it back and possibly bring it to other consoles.
