If you’ve completed 007 First Light which a lot of players already have, rest assured that you’ll have even more to play with, as developer IO Interactive has teased what seems like the first content update for the third person action adventure title. After you finish the main story of 007 First Light, there will be an ad in the main menu teasing a whole new content for TacSim, which is the game’s equivalent of a highly rewarding challenge mode. And according to that ad, a future update is set to bring the Valhalla Protocol, a mission featuring the modified Aston Martin that is briefly seen in the main story.
It seems that the upcoming new content for TacSim will add a large section for you to drive the car as well, complete with tons of stuff to blow up, blast and drive through. This addition will be a refreshing touch for the mode as most of the challenges only require Bond to complete objectives strictly on foot and an epic car chase mission can really bring serious levels of thrills as well as replayability in 007 First Light.
However, the Valhalla Protocol doesn’t have an official release date yet but hopefully it’ll arrive in the coming weeks.
007 First Light boasts an impressive, star studded cast of Dexter: Original Sin’s Patrick Gibson as the new James Bond, Fear the Walking Dead’s Lennie James as Bond’s mentor John Greenway, Priyanga Burford as M, Alastair Mackenzie as Q, Kiera Lester as Moneypenny and Noémie Nakai as Miss Roth.
The game came out across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC yesterday and swiftly became the highest rated James Bond title in the last 15 years, or even more. With a highly impressive 87 Metacritic score as of this writing, developer IO Interactive’s 007 First Light shines vividly and is certainly the best Bond game in several decades, at least.
