Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter will drop in September 19th

Trails in the Sky 1st is getting a remaster. It seems like the decade of remakes is still going, while I have different opinions on the matter, what matters the most is that Nihon Falcom never forgets what made their company great. From Ys to classics like Sorcerian and Legends of Heroes, this company always respects their roots. PC gamers from all eras of gaming have been blessed with games from these developers. While there’s plenty of issues with how Nihon Falcom started handling stuff down the line, at least they aren’t as greedy as companies like EA, Activision and others. We at Infinite Start will cover this surprise remaster.

Trails in the Sky 1st came last

A trailer has dropped a while ago now. We know this would eventually happen, however, we still didn’t have a proper date for when it would happen. Now fans of the Legend of Heroes series can mark their calendars, cause a classic is about to come. I strongly recommend people, even those new to the series or that wish to get in, to play the originals first. You can get them on Steam too, although, it is recommended to run them on older hardware for the better experience. Nihon Falcom as a company always cared on doing simple stuff with tons of quality.

While the game might seem simple at first, you end up unraveling a very deep plot that often spans tons of sequels. The artists at Nihon Falcom are very talented folks, including their star composer, our King Nakajima, who has sadly left the company due to the place not being the best to work at. There’s tons of stories of how they mishandled various talented artists there, and most of the time, it is truly baffling to discover what they did.

Most of the titles from this company are also available for free and some are even abandonware, they have been creating stuff since the early days of gaming, way back in the 80s. Ys is genuinely a must play for everyone, and I highly recommend it.
