The Division 2: Battle for Brooklyn DLC gets launch trailer

The Division 2 is getting a new DLC, Battle for Brooklyn will be the name for it, Ubisoft is doing their best to not be cooked in the upcoming fiscal year cause those numbers aren’t looking good at all. There is always the lowest denominators of PC gamers, that in spite of all odds, they keep committing the same manner of financial suicide akin to the Madden bros who always buy the same reskinned game again and again. The Division 2: Battle for Brooklyn DLC is yet another attempt of Ubisoft to cash in on nostalgia in these desperate times. We at Infinite Start will cover the plans Ubisoft has.

The Division 2 gets new DLC

Some already claim that the DLC is worth buying, but this is a usual thing that happens when it comes to ultra fans of a live service title. The sunk cost fallacy is real with many of the addicted players to these kind of dark pattern games, which only exist to pull money out of their pockets. That money could have been better spent on buying single player titles, which would have been way more enjoyable than slaving away at the queue waiting for matches.

Live service titles are digital drugs, and like their real life counterpart they tend to erode the enjoyment you get from the medium. Think to yourself, how many times can you say you actually had fun on a match? That’s right, the amount of times you raged or felt worse than when you started playing is more than those you actually enjoyed the game.

Live service games often breed a terrible community, which is unfortunate cause games are supposed to be fun, they are supposed to be just games. Ubisoft is guilty of having caused people to lose interest in gaming as a whole, The Division 2 needs to be closed soon for them to go down as a company.
