Syberia Remastered has been finally announced, and its coming to PC in 2025. This is the game that defined the adventure genre on PC, and it truly holds a special place in the hearts of many gamers. This title is quite old too, it has been more than 2 decades when the game first dropped in 2002 on Steam. The remaster promises to remain faithful to the original, a thing that should happen to every game that is remastered. Remakes should only be a thing for games that weren’t good in the first place, for games that needed some fixes. We at Infinite Start will cover more about this remaster.
There’s till no proper date defined for the release of Syberia Remastered, however we know it will come in 2025. Benoît Sokal, the creator behind the Syberia universe is keen on keeping the things that made the original such an enjoyable experience for many. We can only hope that no greed of the sorts interrupts the artistic process of making games. Gamers are tired of the current situation happening in the gaming industry and things need to change after all.
Between overpriced releases, and terrible optimization, many people are opting to just play older games instead, this is actually spectacular. The migration of people to old media has been increasing in the current years, some claiming that the past was so much better, and it indeed was. This wasn’t cause of the things companies did back then however, it was because artists were free to express themselves and games were treated as an art form.
No artist wants to focus on developing hyper realistic garbage, only tech bros care about that. Syberia Remastered does not seem like a project where tech bros are at the helm making all decisions, those are often trapped in the next big live service flop.
