Stellar Blade to Get Complete Edition

Following a pre-early announcement earlier this week, Sony now officially confirmed Shift Up’s extremely praised action RPG, Stellar Blade, will receive a Complete Edition. The game’s Complete Edition comes out June 11, 2025, at the same time on both the PlayStation 5 and PC.

Originally released as a PlayStation 5 exclusive in April of 2024, Stellar Blade was well received for its lengthy combat, beautiful visual presentation, and engaging survival story in a post-apocalyptic world. The announcement of the Complete Edition, reported by Gematsu, will undoubtedly have current fans and newcomers ready to jump into playing the game on PC.

This Complete Edition will package the base game with all downloadable content published to this point, such as crossover expansions like NieR: Automata and NIKKE: Goddess of Victory. Beyond this prior content, the Complete Edition will bring a massive amount of new content. The following 25 new costumes for main character Eve will enable additional appearance customization. Additionally, a new hard boss fight against Mann, the Sentinels’ leader, will give the new challenge of skill even for old players. The Complete Edition will also contain Japanese and Simplified Chinese voice-overs, appealing to the broader international market.

For PC players, Stellar Blade will have a set of technical improvements. These are complemented by support for NVIDIA DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3 to enhance visual fidelity and performance, and unlimited frame rates. Ultrawide screens from 5:4 up to 32:9 aspect ratios will also be supported with the PC version, and PlayStation DualSense controller support, with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, will also be supported over a wired link. Additionally, PC gamers can expect to see improved higher-resolution environment textures, further complementing the game’s already breathtaking visuals.

Current owners of Stellar Blade on PlayStation 5 will also get to enjoy some of the new content. A patch that will be offered for free on June 11th will provide existing players with the 25 new appearances and the new boss fight. This way, fans who played the game at launch will also get to enjoy the new content.

Stellar Blade: Complete Edition’s launch on both PlayStation 5 and PC is an exciting new beginning for this much-loved game, providing a longer and improved experience for even more fans.
