Warhorse Studios unveiled an overwhelming new update for its popular role-playing game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Patch 1.3 has long finally deployed on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Bug fixes, optimizations, and a small amount of new content have been added to the update.
Besides the patch, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s initial story DLC, “Brushes with Death,” is also out now. The DLC features a fully new quest that can be played by the player, starting off as a mysterious encounter near Trosky Castle. The DLC is available for individual purchase or through the game’s Expansion Pass.
Patch 1.3 contains a very long list of patches. Perhaps most anticipated is the inclusion of horse racing. At last, players can engage in cross-country racing and mounted archery competitions at the Nomads’ camp in Trosky province. Three quests are added to this inclusion: “Horses for Courses,” “Racing Horseshoes,” and “The Executioner’s Edge.”
The patch also adds improvements to lots of the game like quests, fight, and performance overall. The difficulty level of enemies within the area of Kuttenberg has been reworked for added challenge. Horse shoe prices have been realigned, alcohol effects have been altered, and store inventories.
There are a few bug fixes in the patch. Fixes for issues regarding alchemy, animal behavior, combat mechanics, and user interface have been made. Fixes for issues regarding fast travel, horseback riding, and detection of crimes have also been made.
Some additional content and functionality, such as new dice players at taverns and improved barber functionality, have been included. Fixes for numerous individual quests and random events have also been made.
Warhorse Studios has recently confirmed that they will be releasing two more DLCs for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. “Legacy of the Forge” will release in autumn and “Mysteria Ecclesia” in winter. Both are included in the Expansion Pass.
