Honkai: Star Rail, HoYoverse’s hit sci-fi RPG, is bringing more gear to the game with two new Planar Ornament sets. Leaks suggest that Version 3.4 is where the players will be adding these sets, providing them with new character-upgrading means.
Planar Ornaments are exclusive gear items unlockable from the Simulated Universe game mode. Two Planar Ornaments can be equipped by any character, and two of the same set equipped provides substantial bonuses. New additions and alterations are likely to be released through the upcoming Version 3.4 update.
The initial leaked Planar Ornament set is all about limiting the number of active team members. It will cause extra damage to the wearer and his Memosprite when there is an unusual number of characters in a party. This type of set might prove helpful for characters who allegedly possess version 3.4 character Phainon, who allegedly has team size-changing abilities.
The second group of Planar Ornaments provides more general buffs, topping up both the initial damage and the DoT damage the wearer inflicts. This set would be best for players who depend on steady damage application or niche DoT effect providers.
Version 3.4 also guarantees a Fate/Stay Night collab, featuring playable characters such as Saber and Archer. The new Planar Ornament sets can be fitting for these characters, particularly when they have gameplay mechanics revolving around damage over time. The collab will also feature a new in-game event on Penacony that is centered on the “Penaconian Holy Grail War.”
Honkai: Star Rail’s Version 3.4 patch is proving to be one of the most anticipated game patches, introducing new gears, characters, and events into the mix. For now, players can expect to see the release of Version 3.4 on July 2 and the Fate/Stay Night collaboration on July 11.
