Zenless Zone Zero Gears Up for Xbox Debut

After much anticipation, HoYoverse has officially narrowed down the release window for Zenless Zone Zero on Xbox consoles. As confirmed through a recent Xbox Spotlight presentation, the urban fantasy action-RPG is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S in June of this year. This arrival will coincide with the game’s significant Version 2.0 update, promising a fresh wave of content for both new and existing players.

Previously available on PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android, the Xbox release marks an exciting expansion for Zenless Zone Zero’s burgeoning community. Xbox Series X|S players can look forward to a visually impressive experience, with the game harnessing the power of the consoles to deliver DirectX RayTracing and HDR support. Furthermore, the game will aim for a smooth 60 frames per second at a native 4K resolution, ensuring fluid and engaging combat encounters, a hallmark of HoYoverse titles.

Adding further value for Xbox users, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will receive special in-game rewards simply by logging in after each major version update. This is a welcome bonus and aligns with a growing trend of Game Pass offering supplementary content for various titles. Additionally, the game will support cross-progression and flexible server selection across different platforms, allowing players to seamlessly transition their progress.

For those who prefer to forgo downloads, Zenless Zone Zero will also be available via Xbox Cloud Gaming. This will enable Game Pass Ultimate members to dive into the action on a wider range of devices, offering greater accessibility. While cloud gaming will stream at a maximum of 1080p resolution, the 60FPS target will still be maintained.

The June release will introduce players to the brand-new Waifei Peninsula area as part of the 2.0 update, promising new adventures and stories within the vibrant world of New Eridu. This expansion, coupled with the technical enhancements on Xbox Series X|S, positions Zenless Zone Zero as a noteworthy addition to the console’s action-RPG lineup.
