Space Marine 2 Reveals New Material in Future Patch 8

Saber Interactive made the announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Patch 8, and it’s packed with new material and patch work for the fans of the action game. From its launch in 2024, Space Marine 2 has been regularly updated with free downloadable content (DLC), cosmetic improvements, and patches to address gameplay problems.

The feature of Patch 8 is the addition of a new Horde Mode. The mode will feature three players joining forces to fight against Tyranids and Chaos enemies in waves. Character classes and weapon levels will be determined by the player’s PvE progression as they progress through the waves, making it harder and harder. The map in Horde Mode is on Kadaku. Aside from the Horde Mode, Patch 8 will feature new cosmetic packs. New looks on the Space Marines’ side are to be anticipated in the form of the Blood Angels Cosmetic Pack and the White Scars Champion Pack.

Saber Interactive also took into account community opinion on the Absolute difficulty level for the game. Through community voting, Patch 8 will see the rebalancing of this difficulty level to offer a tougher experience for those looking for the ultimate challenge of their skills.

Aside from interacting with the community of players, Saber Interactive has also welcomed players to become a part of “Focus Together,” a place where ideas and suggestions can be posted to influence the future direction of Space Marine 2 development. Players can also look forward to experiencing the new mode within the Public Test Server (PTS) prior to release, but no specific dates have been shared.

Before this update, Space Marine 2 launched the Trygon update, which featured a new PvE map, new cosmetics, and private lobbies in which players can create a team of a maximum of 11. Saber Interactive also suggested that there are some remaining surprises in Space Marine 2 that have not been uncovered by even the most resolute dataminers. As the players wait anxiously for Patch 8 to arrive, there is a lot to look forward to in this latest patch.
