Rocket League X Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Crossover Event

Rocket League, the popular arcade car soccer title, just announced a new crossover event with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as seen on Steam. In the crossover, the beloved “heroes in a half-shell” arrive in the vehicle chaos and sport action of Rocket League. The special event comes to console and PC platforms last April 22 and will go until May 1.

Year by year, Rocket League has seen enough crossovers with gigantic pop culture franchises. The speedy players of the game will now get to play TMNT-specific content. Rocket League has been among the most well-liked esports games out there since its release in 2015, attracting players who enjoy sports games and racing games alike.

The game has kept evolving with new arenas, vehicles, and modes of play. The new update adds Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo to Rocket League. The partnership adds a special mode known as Pizza Party where the players score with a gigantic pizza. The jumps in this mode are substituted by grappling hooks, which is a new feature added to the game.

Players are also able to use new skins, toppers, banners, and wheels, as well as a variety of others, all of which are turtle-themed. The ooze symbol that caused the reptiles to transform into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is featured in Rocket League as Challenge Rewards Ooze Boost and Limited Ooze Canisters, giving players items from the Accelerator, Triumph, and Zephyr Series.

Among the high points of the crossover event is the Turtle Van, better referred to as the Party Wagon. The classic vehicle forms a bundle together with the Turtle Van Car Body, the Pizza Box Decal, and the Vandalized Decal, among others, selling for 2500 Credits. Players have a chance to collect 11 Challenge Rewards while present at the event, hence availing the option to go to the TMNT content and other new items introduced in the newest Rocket League patches within a limited time frame.

Pop culture crossovers in video games have seen popularity among gamers. Most are looking forward to this TMNT crossover, and others are already looking forward to the promised Mortal Kombat content to be integrated into Rocket League.
