Ready or Not Finally Secures Console Release Window

Following a long period of waiting from the impatient console players, VOID Interactive has finally made the official announcement that their tactically praised first-person shooter, Ready or Not, will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in summer 2025. This follows the game’s performance on PC, where it attracted a passionate fan base for its gritty and realistic depiction of contemporary SWAT strategy.

Since its early access release in December 2021 and December 2023 PC full launch, Ready or Not has also attracted commendations for challenging gameplay, tactical strategy, and adherence to realism. Its protagonists are SWAT officers who are tasked with their way through high-pressure scenarios and eliminating threats through careful strategy and execution. It focuses on calculated moves, rules of engagement, and coordination in its cooperative multiplayer options.

The console announcement, complete with the new trailer, has created hype across PlayStation and Xbox communities that have been eagerly waiting to experience the tactical depth offered by Ready or Not. The developer also weighed in and confirmed that the console version will boast full crossplay support, meaning PC players would be able to join their console counterparts.

While the exact release date sometime during the summer window has not yet been officially stated, the announcement gives console gamers a precise window of time to gear up for the fast-paced action. Rumor has it that further details, including an exact launch date, will be made at upcoming gaming convention events. The console edition will be released both digitally and physically, with pre-order incentives and deluxe edition with swag. For the console gamers waiting for an amazingly tactical and immersive shooter experience, the wait for Ready or Not is finally over.
