New PlayStation Handheld May Outperform the Xbox Series S

The rumors that originate from the game hardware verse suggest that Sony is preparing a new PlayStation hand computer, and the first indications point to a device with a surprising muscle. According to recent reports, this portable console could exceed the current Xbox generation series of Microsoft in terms of processing skill.

Speculation focuses on the hand computer supposedly using a personalized 15 W chipset built on a 3NM avant -garde architecture. The sources familiar with the details suggest that the graphic performance of this chip could place the device somewhere between the Xbox S series and Sony’s PlayStation 5 console itself.

This level of power, if the rumors are valid, opens the intriguing possibility that the hand computer is able to execute PlayStation 5 games natively. However, concessions in resolution and visual fidelity would probably be necessary to accommodate the portable form and its thermal restrictions.

One of the key aspects that feed this speculation is the low power of rumored chipset. This efficiency could allow the hand computer to address demanding titles, although with visual commitments.
Despite the encouraging signals with respect to their potential power, questions about the broader capabilities of the PlayStation cover are left. In particular, there is still no clarity about whether the device could handle games designed for the eventual PlayStation 6.

Industry experts suggest that the chipset is expected for this hand computer to reach its final design stage a few months after the silicon for the main PlayStation 6 console. This close development timeline suggests a possible synergy between the two platforms.

While Sony’s official details are still scarce, the perspective of a powerful Handheld PlayStation capable of executing current generation console titles is generating emotion without a doubt among the players. As always, these rumors must be addressed with a certain degree of caution, but nevertheless paint an attractive image of how the future of the playstation games on the march could be.
